Diagnosis of ADHD and Autism supports children in education to access the right support. Both processes involve gathering information from a range of sources including school. Sometimes the school does not share parents concerns, in such cases school liaison can help unite adults around the child’s best interests. If a child is in school, the right support and understanding is crucial , which is why I offer school liaison as standard when making a diagnosis.

Symptoms of ADHD include:

  1. Falling behind at school
  2. Getting in to trouble frequently at school for misbehaviour
  3. Being disorganised-late, forgetting things
  4. Day dreaming
  5. Being on the go
  6. Risk taking
  7. Trouble with friendships due to impulsivity.

Treatment includes
